Cabbage Tree Palms Walk

Follow a rambling track into Australias southernmost stand of rare Cabbage Fan Palms.

Location: Marlo
Distance: 1 km return, 15 mins
Grade: Level 2 – No experience required. The track is hardened gravel or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and some steps. Walks up to 10 km.
Getting there: Follow the signs from Marlo in the direction of Cape Conran and watch for the signed turn off to CabbageTree Palms. Or, if travelling between Orbost and Cabbage Tree Creek along the Princes Highway, watch for the signed turn off to Palm Track (unsealed road). From here the Palms are 5.5 km.
