Lyrebird Forest Walk

Follow the Little Morwell River through native forest in the Strzelecki Ranges to contrasting views over the surrounding farmland.

Location: Mirboo North
Distance: 4.8 km return, 1 hr 30 min
Grade: Level 1 – No experience required. Flat even surface with no steps or steep sections. Suitable
for wheelchair users with someone to assist them. Walks up to 5 km.Level 2 – No experience required. The track is hardened gravel or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and some steps. Walks up to 10 km.
Getting there: Well signposted turn off 3.3 km north of Mirboo North on Strzelecki Highway (B460)
