Mirboo North
Mirboo North marks the halfway point on the magnificent Grand Ridge Road in Central Gippsland. Looking down from its high ridge, this traditional country town is surrounded by some of the most scenic views in the area.
Outdoor activities
Drive the 132 kilometre Grand Ridge Road that snakes its way through the Strzelecki Ranges and provides fabulous scenic views. Visitors can cycle the Grand Ridge Rail Trail between Mirboo North and Boolarra, or play 18 holes at the Mirboo North Golf Club.
Fishing
Cast a fishing line in crystal clear streams filled with blackfish and trout. The Tarwin River East and West, Berry's Creek and Turton's Creek are all popular spots for fishing.
Historic town
See native flora including the town's emblem, the lily, and beautifully decorated street murals capturing the spirit of the town’s early days. Mirboo North is also home to the renowned Grand Ridge Brewery, winner of over 100 international awards.
