Sports wonderland
Tee off at the Barham Golf and Country Club. The par 72 layout is carved from a natural bush setting with a stream winding through most of the holes. While there make use of a magical retreat featuring superb bowling greens and 14 lawn tennis courts. 
 
Cast a line for golden perch and Murray cod in the Murray or enjoy a picnic at the Barham Lakes Complex, four interconnected artificial lakes surrounded by grasslands, picnic facilities, a walking track and a swimming area with a beach.

Wondrous nature
Spot birds and walk or drive through the tall river red gums of the Gunbower Island State Forest, a 65,000-acre flood plain that is internationally recognised as a wetland of significance for its importance to bird life and native mammals.
