Follow the trail
Criss-cross the region on the Yarra Valley Food Trail and stop at the sign-posted gastronomic hotspots to sample, savour, or pick your own. Call in at orchards, farm gates and roadside stalls to buy local produce directly from the grower. 

Tuck into a tempting array of specialty seasonal produce introduced to the region from generations of immigrant settlers, including pasta, cheese, chilli, capsicum, persimmons, smoked fish, salmon, and of course, fine wine.
